Trubia Construction has expertise in adding handicap accessibility to homes. Below are a few of these projects completed by Trubia Construction.

116 Lexington Ave

This home was a complete remodel to house a handicapped family. Our team completely gutted this home inside and out installed all new windows, flooring, insulation and drywall as well as an entire electrical system with a back-up generator to supply the home with electric during any power outages. We also added a new plumbing system with an insta-hot water heater and life safety systems including a centrally monitored fire alarm system and sprinkler system inside the home. We installed a completely new HVAC system with air conditioning and heat. In this home we added a bedroom addition in front and two new wheelchair ramps to access the home. Features include fully accessible ADA compliant kitchen, ADA compliant bathrooms with an extra floor drain and epoxy finish throughout, carrier sink, power-flush toilets. Along with all new windows we added two new solar tunnels to catch exterior sunlight during the day so lights do not have to be used, as well as widened all interior doorways to 3' doors for easy access to bedrooms and baths as well as 42" exterior 'barrier free' doors for easy entry and exits of the home. Some exterior renovations include all new PVC trim, vinyl siding, new roof and gutters, new deck in rear and all new composite railings, new vinyl fence, new asphalt driveway and landscaping.
